Mechanical Design Engineer / Draftsperson

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer or Draftsperson to join an extremely large international company based in a CBD office, offering hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH).

This is a 3-month contract with a strong option to extend, and an immediate start is available.

Key requirements:

• Experience in structural steel design
• Strong working knowledge of AS4100 and other relevant Australian Standards
• Proficient using Inventor and/or AutoCAD
• Must have your own Inventor/AutoCAD licence

Role details:

• CBD location
• Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days WFH
• Contract: 3 months + extension potential
• Pay rate: $60–$80 per hour, depending on experience

This role suits someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working within a large, established organisation.
